Maria Sheffield for Congress

I went to a CCRP breakfast with my mom.  I heard Maria Sheffield speak.  She does have  pretty good ideas and opinions.
        Maria Sheffield is trying to run against John Barrow.  She thinks  Democrats should go home.  She also thinks we should have freedom.  She believes there is nothing more important then our country.  She loves our country and wants so much to defend it.  We should also have a good budget. Her opinion is that no illegal immigrants should be aloud because they do not pay their taxes so the government runs out of money to pay for  jobs and stuff like that.  She thinks education  should be left to the local part of the government.  Our energy policy should not depend on other countries that do not like us.

The Mass Precinct Meeting

I went to a mass precinct meeting with my mom.  I asked my mom what that was.  You might have that same question too.  Here is the answer.  It is where the local Republican Party elects it's leaders.  You might ask who can go to a mass precinct meeting.  You are aloud to go if you are a citizen and aloud to vote  It is free!When you get there you  will check in and maybe meet the people who are speaking.  Then you will go sit in your district's section with the people in your precinct.  When the meeting starts you and your precinct will choose delegates to go to the County Convention and turn in your choices.  My mom spent a lot of time talking with the people in her precinct.  They chose delegates talked about what should happen differently in our country When the meeting was over  people running for congress, judge, and county commissioner spoke.  The mass precinct meeting was very interesting.  I am glad I went because I got to hear what my mom and the people in my precinct believe.  This is when I  went to a mass precinct meeting.
